The end of the school year has come! Last week was our final week for the school year at LIST. The teacher’s and student’s are both ready for the summer, and so am I! Once again, I am very excited by the work we were able to accomplish. Our biggest accomplishment was being able to complete over 1000 tutoring sessions! We also really established our presence in the community; it is exciting to think about what we will be able to accomplish next year.
We will be running a four week summer program. While we will be working on language arts and math, I am also planning some exciting lessons including science and art projects. I know that the students attending these classes are excited since they kept asking me when we would start. Until August, however, this will be my last blog for the next several months.
