Last week was our first week of tutoring for this school year. Unfortunately, some of our volunteers from last year cannot volunteer with us this year due to a change in their careers. We were fortunate, however, in that we got two new volunteers to replace those that we lost. We have a couple new students joining our ranks, and they are delightful to work with as well. We currently have 16 students enrolled and around 10 students on our waiting list.
I am excited to see how our students learn and grow, and look forward to working with them and our volunteers throughout this school year; it’s hard to believe that fall is upon us!
