The big news this week was our first LIST Art Class! We had 6 students attend, and they all enjoyed themselves. This time, they were to draw something about themselves – it could be what they like to eat, a hobby or their favorite sport for a few examples. We also had stickers and other printed pictures they could use to be creative. We provided popsicle sticks to make a frame and magnet to glue on the back so they could hang their picture from their fridge. Some of the boys stared making various projects with the leftover popsicle sticks – I think they had more fun doing this than they did drawing their picture!
Our next art class will be on February 26, and the students will have the opportunity to meet a puppeteer and make their own puppets! They are already excited for this!
