Everyone at LIST from the volunteers to the students is excited for “Tiz Hiz Season”, the Christmas Gospel concert/party THIS Sunday, 3-6. We’ve had to change the location due to the poor weather (and a forecast of more rain) to Animo Leadership Charter High School. If you would like to come, buy your tickets at www.listhelp.org - $10/person, $15/two, $5 with a donation of supplies (email kvellenga@listhelps.org for more information of the donations). If you’d like to wait, you can purchase your tickets at the door for $20/person.
In other news, we added two new volunteers to our raster this week! With these additions, we were able to add 12 new sessions! The parents we contacted this week had been waiting since October; we are so thankful for our new volunteers as well as those that have been volunteering with us for a while.
Next week will be our last week until 2010. So far, this school year has been so successful, I am so excited to see what the rest of the ’09-’10 school year will bring. The year 2010 looks to be a great one!
