I realized the other day that it has been a long time since I updated this blog. Spring break came on, and it seems it took me a couple weeks to recover! Nonetheless, we have been plugging along the last few weeks. We had our monthly art class a few weeks ago where the students used small, wooden bird houses to make houses for the monster they also created. Click here to see pictures of their creations.
The students are also preparing for the CST (California Standardized Tests) that will start at the end of the month. Many of the students are bringing test prep books for homework, and others have asked to go online and look for other information regarding the tests – how many questions will be asked in each section, what standards may be highlighted and so on. Some of the students are getting more and more nervous, and others seem to be taking it in stride. Once testing is over, however, the end of the year will be upon us before we know it!
