It has been another great week at LIST after a two week break for Thanksgiving. The students all had a great vacation, and they are now looking forward to Christmas break in only a little over a week! We have some exciting events coming up as well. This Saturday is our monthly art class; I am always excited to see what our volunteer comes up with for an activity. The following Saturday, we have the first rehearsal for our LIST choir! I am so excited by the positive response of the students for the choir; I know they will do a great job singing as part of our fundraiser concert on January 22.
I had an interesting experience at LIST this week with an individual who stopped by. A guy walked into LIST asking me if I wanted a Christmas gift while handing me something. It turned out to be a diamond ring, which he claimed was not stolen. He said he would give me a low price; I, of course, declined. I never know what will happen at LIST from week to week!
